Eva joined Pfizer in 1991 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in different geographic regions within public affairs, government affairs, brand public affairs, and commercial support. She is a member of Pfizer’s Global Policy Leadership team and provides support to Pfizer’s Executive Leadership team. More recently Eva was Head of Pfizer’s European Government Affairs operations/EU Office, and from December 2020 Vice-President Global Policy International Developed Markets Leads with 56 market-based policy and public affairs colleagues reporting into her organization. Eva is a lawyer by training, specialised in European law, IP and trade law. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen and a Post-Graduate Degree in European Law from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). She also holds qualifications in Leadership from INSEAD.
Andrea joined Pfizer in 2015 and in December 2020 he became Director, Head of EU Government Affairs. In his current role, he coordinates Pfizer’s EU external engagement strategy and manages relationships with key trade associations such as EFPIA, AmCham EU and EuropaBio. His areas of focus include the Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe, intellectual property (IP) incentives, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and pandemic preparedness. In addition, Andrea is the founder and current manager of the @PfizerEUPolicy Twitter account and the pfizereupolicy.eu website. Andrea holds a M.A. in EU Diplomacy from the College of Europe (Bruges campus) and a M.A. in EU policies from Padua University (Italy) and the Institut D’Etudes Politiques (IEP) of Strasbourg. An Italian national, he speaks English, French, Spanish and basic Serbo-Croatian. He is married and proud father of Ines since February 2021.
Charles is a member of Pfizer’s Global Trade Policy team. He focuses on a range of areas including FTAs, transatlantic trade, and supply chains. He chairs the International Working Group of the European pharmaceutical trade association EFPIA. Previously Charles was a Director in Pfizer’s EU Government Affairs team, where he worked on areas including anti-counterfeiting, intellectual property and trade, as well as policy support to the commercial business. He holds an MA in German from the University of Edinburgh, and an MA in Politics, Security and Integration from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London.
Yordan joined Pfizer’s EU Government Affairs team in January 2022. In his role as a Senior Manager, Yordan leads Pfizer’s EU policy activities in the field of oncology and rare diseases. As such, Yordan is actively involved in trade associations such as EFPIA, EuropaBio and ARM. His areas of focus include the Orphan Medicinal Products and Paediatric Regulations, Implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, Gene Therapies and Research & Innovation. Before joining Pfizer, Yordan lead a team of experienced consultants in a Brussels based public affairs agency. He has a political science and legal background, holding Master’s degrees from the College of Europe (2014) and the University of Strasbourg (2013). A Bulgarian national, Yordan is fluent in French and English.
Riccardo joined Pfizer’s EU Government Affairs team in April 2022. His main responsibilities at Pfizer include key EU legislative files in the fields of digital health and environmental sustainability. In addition to that, Riccardo supports the day-to-day management of the @PfizerEUPolicy Twitter platform and pfizereuplicy.eu website. Prior to Pfizer, he underwent an internship at the U.S. Mission to the European Union, where he supported the Commerce Department in several sectors, including digital policies, competition, and healthcare. Riccardo holds a MSc in International Business Management at ICHEC Brussels Management School. An Italian national, Riccardo is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
