Eva joined Pfizer in 1991 and has held roles in different geographic regions within public affairs, government affairs, brand public affairs, and commercial support. She is a member of Pfizer’s Global Policy Leadership team and provides support to Pfizer’s Executive Leadership team.In March 2009, Eva became Head of the EU Representation Office/European Government Affairs, and In December 2018 Vice-President Global PolicyInternational Developed Markets, whilst remaining Head of the EU Office.Eva is a lawyer by training, specialised in European law, IP and trade law. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen and a Post-Graduate Degree in European Law from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). She also holds qualifications in Leadership from INSEAD.

Heike Galbraith
Heike has almost 20 years of experience in European Public Affairs, and first joined Pfizer in 2003. She is currently leading the team’s advocacy on vaccination policy, as well as health technology assessment (HTA) and personalised medicine. While working for Gilead between 2008 and 2010, Heike helped build their International Government Affairs team, and led pan-European and national programmes to improve early diagnosis and care in HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. Prior to joining Pfizer, Heike worked in the European Parliament and as consultant in two global communications firms. Heike holds a Master’s Degree in History, Politics and Public Law from the University of Heidelberg.

Andrea Chiarello
Andrea joined the Brussels team in 2015. He currently focuses on our EU advocacy on intellectual property rights (IPRs), antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and pharmaceuticals in the environment (PiE). In addition, he manages our team’s initiatives towards the European elections and beyond, including our Twitter account @PfizerEUPolicy. He provides support to our Hospital and Rare Disease Business Units. An Italian national, Andrea holds a M.A. in EU diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges. He previously studied EU policies at the Padua University (Italy) and the Institut D’Etudes Politiques (IEP) of Strasbourg.

Charles Faid
Charles is a member of Pfizer’s Global Trade Policy team. He focuses on a range of areas including EU free trade agreements (FTAs), Brexit and supply chain issues. He chairs the International Working Group of the European pharmaceutical trade association EFPIA. Previously he was a Director in Pfizer’s EU Government Affairs team, where he worked on areas including anti-counterfeiting, intellectual property and trade, as well as policy support to the commercial business. He holds MA in German from the University of Edinburgh, and an MA in Politics, Security and Integration from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London.

Vincent Clay
As of May 2019, Vincent is part of Upjohn, the division of Pfizer focused on established medicines and the fight against non-communicable diseases (NCDs). He joined the EU Government Affairs team in 2009, working on a wide range of policy issues including research and innovation, and oncology; he has led Pfizer’s relationships with EU-level patient organisations, including ensuring the transparency of Pfizer contributions to such groups. Vincent started his career in London, in marketing strategy consultancy. He studied at the University of Cambridge and University College, London.

Martine de Waele
Martine joined Pfizer in 1980 as Assistant to the IT Director and team.In 1990, Martine became Executive Assistant to the President Animal Health/Africa Middle East and team. As from 1998, she joined the EU Government Affairs as Executive Assistant giving support to the Head of the EU Representation Office and her team.Martine holds an IT Degree Programmer IBM Cobol 360/370 from the Ecole Moyenne et Supérieure d’Informatique.

Franjo joined Pfizer in August 2019. He is currently focusing on oncology policy, digital health, research and innovation, and patient advocacy matters. Previously Franjo worked for Merck KGaA, interned in the European Commission's DG SANTE and was a consultant in pharma regulatory affairs. Franjo obtained a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Zagreb, including an exchange programme in Rome. A Croatian national, he speaks English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
